The bag is in the dryer to felt. I have a HE washer, but have learnt through Nora Bellows and my experimentation that the dryer does just dandy to do the agitation necessary for felting. When it came off the needles, it was the perfect size for an exercise ball cozy, so quite large, but it's shrinking down nicely to be the still big (but not quite that big) satchel that I designed it to be. It will have a drawstring and makes a dandy market bag that will hold a LOT of stuff. In class we'll be making a smaller version.It's always fun to see just how big things are before felting in relation to their finished size.
