Today was my day to test knit and rework an old pattern that will be taught soon as a class at The Knitting Boutique. It's a simple Entrelac Tote bag, and I have to say that even for a mostly Right-Brainer like me, it was very fun to dive into the combined Mathematical challenge of figuring the numbers for the Entrelac design itself as well as for the sizing of a to-be-felted fabric.
I haven't finished the knitting quite yet, so nothing worthy of a photo exists at this point, but I'm glad that my curious mind helps me to enjoy puzzle-y opportunities like this and also that I remember enough of my school Math skills to do the calculations. No automatic google problem solving for me, thank you very much. It was me, Pythagoras, my pencil and paper.
